DISCIPLESHIP
When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus knees, saying, Depart from me, for I am a
sinful man, O Lord! For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish
which they had taken; and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were
partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch
men. (Luke 5:8-10)

DISCIPLESHIP
After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also,
and sent them two by two before His face into every city
and place where He Himself was about to go Then the
seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons
are subject to us in Your name. (Luke 10:1,17)

As Christ sent forth His disciples, so today He sends forth the members
of His church. The same power that the apostles had is for them. If they
will make God their strength, He will work with them, and they shall not
labor in vain. Let them realize that the work in which they are engaged is
one upon which the Lord has placed His signet.
THE COST OF
DISCIPLESHIP
Then He said to them all, If anyone desires to come after Me, let
him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. (Luke 9:23)
