All we---like sheep---have wandered away
Is.53:6 Sheep NEED a shepherd!
The further away you get from God, the more
your life is troubled, consequently the closer
you are to God, the more transformation in you

Luke 15 :11-24
1. You have to get fed up!
he wasted all his money in wild living. About the
time his money ran out, a great famine swept over
the land, and he began to starve.
When he finally came to his senses, he said to
himself, At home even the hired servants have food
enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger!
..you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for
Me with all your heart. Jer.29:13

 2. You have to own up!

When he came to his senses, he saidLk. 15:15
Father, I have sinned against heaven and against
you. vs.18
But your iniquities have separated you from your God;
And your sins have hidden His face from you Isa.59:2
Come now, lets settle this, says the Lord. Though
your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as
snow. Isa.1:18

Habit of a Regular Spiritual Check-up

Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the
faith. Dont drift along taking everything for
granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You
need firsthand evidence, not mere hearsay, that
Jesus Christ is in you. Test it out. If you fail the test,
do something about it. I hope the test wont show
that we have failed. But if it comes to that, wed
rather the test showed our failure than yours. Were
rooting for the truth to win out in you. 2 Cor.13:5

 3. You have to offer up!

Father, give meMake me like one of your hired
servants.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view
of Gods mercy, to offer your bodies as a living
sacrifice, holy and pleasing to Godthis is your
true and proper worship Ro.12:1
his father saw him and was filled with compassion
for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around
him and kissed him. But the father said to his
servants, Quick! Bring the best

 4. You have to lift up!

Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Lets have a
feast and celebrate.
Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol
him who rides on the clouds rejoice before
himhis name is the Lord. Ps.68:4
I will sing the Lords praise, for he has been
good to me. Ps.13:6

1 Cor. 11
For I received from the Lord what I also passed on
to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was
betrayed, took bread, and when he had given
thanks, he broke it and said, This is my body,
which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.
vs.23-24
Everyone ought to examine themselves before
they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. vs.28
