Introduction
Ahorrorstory is told to deliberately scare or
frighten the audience, through suspense, violence
or shock.
Authors tend to cause fear , distress and
discomfort in people.The most common source of
unpleasant feelings is the introduction of an evil
and sometimes inexplicable and some
incomprehensible elements.
Horror films often deal with the
viewer'snightmares, hiddenfears, revulsions
andterrorof the unknown.

Ghost story
A story about the intrusion of the spirits of the
dead into the realm of the living.
There are subgenres: The Traditional Haunting,
Poltergeists, The Haunted Place or Object.
Films:Paranormal,The conjuring,The woman in
black ,Indisious chapter,Poltergeist.

Monster
A story about a monster, creature or mutant
that terrorizes people.
Other clear Monster stories are of the
creatures of folklore and fable: the Vampire,
the Ghoul, the Werewolf, the Zombie etc.

dark,Ragnarok,

Giant monsters
A story about a giant monster, big enough to
destroy buildings.
Some such stories are about two giant
monsters fighting each other, a genre known
askaijuin Japan, which is famous for such
works after the success of such films and
franchises asGodzilla.

Werewolf fiction
Stories aboutwerewolves, humans with the
ability to shapeshift into wolves.
When they turn into wolf they kill people often
stalking them or chasing them.

Vampire literature
A story aboutvampires, reanimated
bodies that feed on the blood of the
living, based on European folklore.Bram
Stoker'sDracula created many of the
genre's conventions.

Occult stories
The stories about supernatural and
mysterious forces ,stories of devils, demons,
demonic possession, dark witchcraft, evil
sorcerers or warlocks,satanism.
existence of Good side and the existence of a
deity that represents forces of Evil.

Slasher
Maleserial killeror otherpsychopathas
anantagonist, methodically killing a number of
vulnerable, often female protagonists in
succession.
Killer stalking a sequence of victims in a
violent manner, often with a bladed tool such
as aknife,machete,chain saw oraxe.

Survival horror
A horror story about a protagonist who is put
in a risky and life-threatening situation that he
or she must endure.
often as a result of things such aszombiesor
other monsters, and the rest of the plot is how
the hero or heroes overcome this.
