Institute of Fashion
Technology in 1988,affiliated
to F.I.T (Fashion Institute of
Technology) New York

 Ritu entered into the fashion
career in 1990, making her first line
of clothing called Lavanya . It
brought a complete success in her
homeland as well as on the
international market as well with a
range of selling out very quickly.

 In 1994, trained with
Francois Lesage, master
creator and embroider , in
Paris
 In 2000, Ritu brings forth
her RTW collections in
Paris where France Luxury
Group,Sherrer’s owners,
bought Beri’s own label
Ritu’s Achievements
 In 1995,recognized as a player in the
international fashion scene, with ‘Lavanya’
Ritu introduced a new fashion item named
‘Sanskriti’
 At the same time, the collection divided
into four sequences offered a range of
clothing that delighted, in particular, the
ethnic Indian population recognizing her as
even bigger star across the country
 Ritu’s Achievements
 To Fund animal-care centers placed in
India , Ritu launched a unique line of
animal styled products range called
Caring .It comprised T-shirts, caps, stuffed
toys, jugs, notepads, posters, postcards,
pens and key chains
 As a tool of creating pieces of sheer
artistic excellence from fabric of different
shades , colours and textures, Ritu
showed her charismatic styles how
zippers could be used in innovative and
spunky uses that goes to not only for the
youth but for those who are young at
heart
 Ritu’s Achievements
 Ritu designed uniforms for many corporate
and institutional customers, to illustrate,
the Hyatt Regency Hotel, New Delhi Police
Force, the Indian Competitors to the
Atlanta Olympic Games. In addition , she
made some pieces for Indian Cinema.
 She also created uniform designs for
Maneka Gandhi’s welfare group People For
Animals (PFA).
 At present, Ritu’s sophisticated and
fashionable works have become a best
part in some of the big cities over the
world like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Los
Angeles, London and Paris
