HLSSP Community Service & Events

HLSSP Community Service Mission:

The goal of the Houston Lean Six Sigma Professionals Community
Service & Events committee is to volunteer our expertise to local nonprofits to improve their capability to serve our community.
Approach: We start by coming to the non-profits site and talking with their
team about how they operate and how we can help. If the non-profit would
like to have our volunteers help the non-profit to optimize operations, our
volunteers would meet at the non-profit site and provide a brief presentation
on continuous improvement methods, take a tour of the site, and then work
with the non-profit to map out an approach for optimizing the organization.
At that point, if the non-profit would like to pursue our recommendations, we
can help them take action to make an impact quickly to simplify their
organization.
