• The Indian telecommunications has been zooming up the growth curve at a


feverish pace, emerging as one of the key sectors responsible for India's
resurgent economic growth.
• India is has surpassed US to become the second largest wireless network
in the world with a subscriber base of over 300 million in April, according
to the the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai).

Conclusion:-
• Telecom sector is one of the fastest growing sectors
in India. There is enormous growth and
development in technical requirement as well as

• Having said that it is imperative to say that HR is and
will be playing an important role in acquiring
manpower with the required soft skills and
developing the employee with adequate
motivation for higher retention.
