All ICS Database folders are found in MPA\Data
If a database folder is deleted or renamed a new
database is generated when the software is launched
These folders are related to the NEO instrument
operating software only, they are not related to
AURORA (DMS) and deleting them will not correct

This folder stores all BBX files created from the
instrument

BBX files
BBX files are created by Istar software after analysis
of plate images from the camera
4 files are included in the BBX file and can only be
extracted using the BBX converter program

Once assay is finished a *.GAL file is created

and stored in D:\mpa\data\aurora\upload
Aurora Monitor program scans this folder every
15 seconds for *.GAL files
Once a GAL file is found Aurora blood group
interpreter program will lock the file and interpret
Once interpreted the file extension is changed
from .GAL to .OAL

SQL
SQL server manages the Aurora databases
Both Galileo_SQL and DSN_List must be present and
active attached in SQL for Aurora to open
When one or both databases are missing in SQL
Aurora will generate an error when the Aurora
software is launched
If the databases are present and one or both is
corrupt or suspect then Aurora will generate an error
when launched

Transport firmware update
Patch XDV01_0018 changes transport X firmware
from XDV01_0015 to XDV01_0018
This fixes a bug with the turntable where initialization
time out can occur after turning off and restarting the
system
This fix does not come with new instruments and
must be done during install

rights the value in the database comes as Yes,
but must be all CAPS change to YES
Open DSN_List in SQL management and the
