*) MC BTS class 2 is characterized by a limit for TX 3rd order intermodulation of -60 dBm (average). Specification of TX
spurious emissions outside the TX band will also be less stringent in an offset range from 2MHz to 10MHz from band
edges.

functional blocks
FHxA is a 2-branch remote radio head optimized for MIMO usage.
Mechanically RRH is not based on the Flexi module BTS platform but it
is based on the existing FRIF (Franklin) RRH and has the same look and
feel.
Similarly as in radio module the RRH contains also the necessary
common functionality like the necessary digital and control circuitry,
OBSAI interface and the needed DC/DC power conversion.
RRH consists of two individual branches designed to transmit and
receive multicarrier signals of multiple radio technologies concurrently.
Each branch contains the transmitter and receiver chains and the front
end filters. RRH has no receiver diversity.
48VDC input from System Module or external power source. RRH has
integrated class 2 OVP.
RRH uses natural convection cooling, i.e. it does not have cooling fans.

BTS Power Options
MIBBU reused from Ultra Site WCDMA BTS. Is an alternative to FPMA as a power supply and
BBU unit.
Provides the 48VDC voltage from external AC or DC voltage (batteries)
Max. output 4 * 1500W = 6 kW
One fully configured MIBBU can provide power for up to 24 TRXs
Compatible with 19 mechanics -> can be installed in Flexi cabinet installations
Is for indoor use -> Always requires a cabinet. In an outdoor cabinet, requires the FCSA
housing module (with an FCSA control card) to provide IP-protected and temperaturecontrolled space (can also be used for LTE units)
MIBBU consists of:
Power Distribution Unit (WPUB or WPUC) including
Control Unit
Max four Power Units i.e. rectifiers
(WPMB with WPUB or WPMC with WPUC),
which also charge the batteries
Optional batteries
