Skills

In Soft Skills 1 (UHS1021) students are exposed


to 6 Soft Skills elements which are: Ethics and
Moral Professional, Communication, Teamworking, Leadership, Critical Thinking & Problem
Solving, Lifelong learning.
UHS1021 covers both theoretical and the
practicality of all elements. Accordingly, students
were assigned to manage 1 mini project (video
making) and 2-3 Problems Base learning (PBL).
The contents of Soft Skills 1 (UHS1021) stands
as foundation to Soft Skills 2 (UHS2021).

UHS2021

UHS 2021 (Soft Skills 2) is the extension of Soft


Skills 1 (UHS 1021). This course focuses on
dynamic and integrated approaches which based
on the needs of the industry or workplace.
Hence, students will go through the experiential
learning to enhance their spiritual intelligence,
coaching, conflict management, critical thinking
and problem solving also communication skills.
By the end of this course, students are expected
to be more competent and competitive in
preparing themselves being in a workplace later
on.

C. PROPOSAL (10%marks)

1. Propose a project which involves Soft Skills elements that


you have learned. The project has to have humanitarian
values such as community services, motivation programme
and welfare project. Eg. teaching at school, giving
motivational talk

2. Write a proposal and get approval from your lecturer,


Submit your Proposal online.

3. Submit the proposal not later than Week 4 (16 -20, March)
Lecturers' feedback by week 5 (23-27 March.)
