No female student shall be expelled,

absence in any educational institution solely
on grounds of pregnancy outside marriage
during her school term.

Collaborate with CHED and DepEd to integrate
in the educational curriculum the preservation
and respect of indigenous rights, cultures and

discriminatory to women;

The peace process shall be pursued
with the following considerations:

Heritage (BCH)-ARMM and DSWD.

Section 35. Protection of Girl-Children


Pursue measures to eliminate all forms of discrimination
against girl-children in education, heath and nutrition,
and skills development.
Provide equal access of Muslim and indigenous girlchildren in the Madaris, schools of living culture and
traditions, and regular schools;
Develop gender-sensitive, rights-based and culturesensitive curriculum, including legal literacy and books,
in the Madaris and schools of living culture and
traditions;
Ensure sensitivity of regular schools to particular Moro
and indigenous practices, such as fasting in the month
of Ramadan, choice of clothing (including the wearing of
hijab) and availability of halal.

RULE VI. INSTITUTIONAL MECHANISMS


SECTION 37 . Gender Mainstreaming as a Strategy
for Implementing the Magna Carta of Women
Creation and/or Strengthening of the GAD Focal
Points (GFPs) All government departments
including SUCs, shall establish or strengthen
their GFP System to catalyze and accelerate
gender mainstreaming..
The head of agencies ..shall sign appropriate
issuances to institutionalize the creation of the
GFP..
The tasks and functions of the members of the
GFP shall form part of their regular key result
areas and shall be given due consideration in
their performance evaluation.

Sec. 16.A.3 CHED, TESDA, DepEd shall ensure that educational institutions
implement a capacity building program on gender, peace and human rights
education for education officials, faculty and non-teaching staff and personnel
Sec. 37. GFPS shall ensure that all personnel of the agency/LGU/SUCs
including the auditors are capacitated on GAD
JC: 4.2 Capability building on Gender and Development: A clear
understanding of and appreciation of gender and development is a prerequisite for a successful GAD planning and budgeting. Agencies are required
to regularly undertake orientations and capacity development on gender and
development, gender equality and womens empowerment including GADrelated laws and commitments for their employees. Trainings should include
gender mainstreaming, gender analysis and gender-responsive planning and
budgeting.

JC: 3.1 Agencies shall formulate their annual GAD plans and
budgets within the context of their mandate and overall plans
and programs including those that concern organizational
development.
-The annual GAD plan and budget shall be guided by the desired
outcomes and goals embodied in the MCW, PPGD 1995-2025,
Womens Empowerment and Development toward Gender
Equality (WEDGE 2012-2016) Plan and other term plans for
gender and development, the CEDAW and other relevant laws
and international commitments.
