What is Kana:
Before I start teaching you the Kana
characters, you need to know what it is.
Kana is Hiragana and Katakana which are
the Japanese alphabets.
Kanji is also a Japanese alphabet but Ill
come on to that later.
Kana is technically not an alphabet its a
syllabry
It is a collection of phonic sounds. There
are 46 sounds in Hiragana and Katakana.

vowels also they are pronounced

Once youve learnt all the Japanese
numbers remembering the months of the
year becomes really easy.
January, for example, is literally first
month and February is second month and
so on.
So my advice is learn all your numbers if
you havent already and learn the word
month but you should have done that in

Remembering the days isnt as easy to
memorise as it is to memorise the months
but its really easy to memorise the days
11 19 and 21 31.
Days 11 19 and 21 31 are simply their
number plus nichi.
