EMPLOYED WOMEN
Working women here are referred to those who are in

paid employment at IT sector.


But even if well qualified women engineers or
managers or geologists are available, preference will
be given to a male of equal qualification.
Social attitude to the role of women lags much
behind the law.

INTRODUCTION TO
STRESS
Stress is a normal part of life. In small
quantities of stress is good. If can motivate
and help to be more productive. However
too much of stress can actually harming
mind and body. The software employees
want to overcome the occupational stress
factors and this could be succeed by
understanding the impact of stress that
affected the employees which in tune make
the ultimate need for the study.

INTRODUCTION TO
STRESS
At present the stress at work is relatively new

experience of modern lifestyles particularly to


women.
The nature of work has gone through drastic changes
over the last century and it is still changing at rapid
speed.
So the present study is designed to analyze the various
factors influencing stress to employed women at IT
sector in Chennai and to overcome the same.

Mental stress
Social stress
Personal stress
Environmental stress
Family stress
Physical stress

SCOPE OF THE STUDY


The study intends to cover the stress of employed women at IT sector

particularly in Chennai location which gives high accuracy due to not


having diverged focused on other locations.
It also would help to find out the stress faced by the women during
the working time.
The study on stress management provides an attempt to know the
causes and cost of stress among women in workplace.
From the opinion collected from the women, the study would provide
an attempt to monitor stress and suggest some methods to reduce
stress in such a way that others can follow to improve their efficiency.
This study also intends to state about relaxation techniques. To reduce
stress among women.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

To find out the level of employed women stress in


the IT sector.
To analyze the various factors of stress.
To find out the association between mental and
physical stress factors.
To explore relationship of organization factor over
the stress.
To find out the best way to overcome stress.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Descriptive research design will be adopted in the

study to measure the stress level of employed


women in Chennai IT sector.
Employed women in Chennai IT sector will be the
sample population for the study.
A survey method using questionnaires as a tool
will be adopted.
