GDPIM Reviews - Application Process

Approval to develop

Assess the viability of the opportunity, confirm its fit with the business plan
and commit the necessary resources to develop the opportunity

Quote approval

Approve the product, process and project proposal prior to submission to

the customer and confirm resource commitments

Proposal acceptance

Review any negotiated changes to the customer proposal, confirm they are
acceptable, baseline the measures of performance, approve future review
deliverables and ensure the necessary resources are in place to complete the program

Concept verification

Confirm customer expectations and verify system, product and process concepts
satisfy functional performance and business objectives

Design verification

Verify selected product and process designs with proof of

conformance to specification and customer expectations

Product & process validation

Validate system, product and process designs by assessing the performance of PV

level product delivered to the customer

Product launch

Confirm readiness for full scale production by customer acceptance of the off-tool, offprocess product

Program close out

Confirm the objectives have been met, complete transfer to

operations and formally close the program
