The AT89S52 is a low-power , high performance
CMOS 8-bit microcontroller.
It provides :
8k bytes of flash,
256 bytes of RAM,
32 i/o lines,
Watchdog timer,
Two data pointers,
Three 16-bit timer/counters,
On-chip oscillator,
Analog to digital convertor,
Digital to Analog convertor.
4.0V to 5.5V operating range.

A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is a thin, flat
electronic visual display that uses the light modulating
properties of liquid crystals. LCDs do not emit light
directly.
It is used for displaying the messages. It is connected
to the microcontroller.

FINGERPRINT MODULE
A fingerprint

sensor(R305) is an electronic device

used to capture a digital image of the fingerprint
pattern. The captured image is called a live scan.
This live scan is digitally processed to create a
biometric template (a collection of extracted features)
which is stored and used for matching.

MAX 232
MAX

232 is used to convert the TTL logic levels to

RS 232 logic levels during serial communication of
microcontrollers with pc.
It operates at input supply voltage of 5V.
It is a 16-bit pin IC.
