INTRODUCTION
National Eligibility Entrance Test 2016 will be conducted by the Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi.
The AIPMT-2016/NEET Phase 1 was conducted on 1 st May, 2016.
As per the order of Honble Supreme Court, NEET Phase 2 shall be conducted for
admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges.
The CBSE has started the process of NEET Phase 2 online registration for
admission to MBBS course/admission BDS coursefrom 26 May 2016.

NEET PHASE 2
CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE FOR NEET PHASE 2
As per the Honble Supreme Courts orders, dated May 9, 2016, all the candidates who
come under the following category can apply for NEET Phase 2:
Candidates, seeking MBBS admission / BDS admission, who could not register in AIPMT2016 / NEET Phase 1 can register for NEET Phase 2.
Those candidates who were registered in AIPMT-2016 / NEET Phase 1 but could not
appear in NEET Phase are eligible for NEET online registration for Phase 2.
Candidates who were registered in AIPMT-2016 / NEET Phase 1 and had appeared for the
entrance exam, but are not satisfied with their performances are eligible for NEET Phase
2 online registration. However, such candidates have to give up their candidature for
NEET Phase 1.

NEET ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
In order to be eligible for National Eligibility Entrance Test Phase 2 entrance exam, the
candidates have to fulfill the below mentioned conditions.
Candidates seeking medical education should be a citizen of India.
Candidates who have passed their 10+2 or PUC or 12thwith Physics, Chemistry and
Biology as their main subjects and have scored a min. of 50% aggregate from a
recognized University or college are eligible for NEET online registration for Phase 2
exam.
In order to apply for NEET Phase 2, candidates must have completed age of 17 years
at the time of MBBS / BDS admission or will complete the age on or before 31stDec of
the year of admission to the first year MBBS / BDS Course.

NEET PHASE 2 EXAM PATTERN
NEET Phase 2 shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions from
Physics,
Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
The duration of the National Eligibility Entrance Test would be 3 hours.
Candidates can opt for NEET Phase 2 Question Paper either in English or in Hindi.

NEET PHASE 2 EXAM SYLLABUS
The Question Papers for the NEET exam 2016 shall be based on a common syllabus
notified by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The MCI recommended
NEET syllabus 2016for Phase 2 examination for admission to MBBS/BDS courses across
the country after review of various State syllabi as well as those prepared by NCERT,
CBSE and COBSE. This is to establish uniformity across the country.

NEET PHASE 2
NEET ADMIT CARD FOR PHASE 2 EXAMINATION
The Central Board of Secondary Education will provide the facility of downloading NEET
Phase 2 Admit Cards on the Boards website along with a format for affixing of Postcard
size photograph.
Candidates are required to download the NEET admit cards to appear for the entrance
exam from the website.
Admit cards will not be sent by the post.
NEET Admit Card will have the candidates Roll Number, Name, Photograph, Fathers
Name, Category, Sub-Category, Date of Birth, Signature, Language of Question Paper
with Name and Address of examination centre allotted.
