BSC6800 product cabinet is the standard N68-22 cabinet of Huawei
Company. Its design conforms to IEC297 standard, IEEE standard.

A subrack is composed of a fan drawer with air outlet holes, a
board subrack, a transverse cabling trough, and an air inlet.

The fan drawer is the main part for heat dissipation
The monitor and communication module inside the fan enables
you to maintain the fan drawer through the Operation and
Maintenance System

The transverse cabling trough is used to lead the cables led out
from the front of the subrack to both sides of the cabinet.

Power Distribution Box

Function :
The power distribution box provides lightning protection and
overcurrent protection for the two inputs of 48V power to the
cabinet.
It outputs six channels of 48V power to functional modules in
cabinets.
It also detects the input voltage and the output power status inside
it, and sends out alarms when there are faults

WMPU Board

The WRSS holds two WMPUs in slots 0 and 1. The two boards
work in active/standby mode.
The WMPU board provides the following functions:
Managing and monitoring other boards in the WRSS
Providing operations and maintenance channels from the Back
Administration Module (BAM) to WRBS.

When plugging in the boards, be sure to insert the WMPU
boards in slots 0 and 1 in the WRSS;
WMPU might be burnt or damaged if you insert it in WRBS;
When plugging in or pulling out boards, be sure to wear
antistatic wrist strap.
Avoid frequent plugging in or pulling out removable hard disc
on WMPU or manual resetting WMPU to protect the hard disc
from damage

Overview :
WLPU is composed of a main-board and an optical sub-board.
Providing 16 channels of 155 Mbit/s (or 4 channels of 622
Mbit/s) ATM over STM-1 optical ports ;
Monitoring the quality of synchronization clock in real time, and
reporting it to the WMPU

WNET Board

The functions of the WNET board include two parts: network


switching and clock processing.
The major functions of network switching:
Fast switching of fixed-length packets of 40 40 ports with a
total switching capacity of 25 Gbit/s, Providing 40 switch network
ports, the rate at each port can be up to full duplex 622 Mbit/s ;
Providing comprehensive system diagnosis function to report
the status of the network switching in due time and to help the
system detect and trace errors .
Clock processing:
Extracting timing signals from the external synchronization
timing interface and line synchronization signals, and providing
timing signals for the entire system after processing;

The WFMR board provides the following functions:


Multiplexing/demultiplexing: It receives data sent by NodeB
in the uplink direction, demultiplexes the data and sends
them to corresponding processing units. It also receives
signalling, speech and packet data in the downlink direction,
multiplexes them and sends them to NodeB.
Frame protocol processing;
Processing internal communication protocols between the
WSPU board and the WFMR board.

RNSAP of Iur interface and NBAP of Iub interface;
Allocating and managing various resources (PVC, AAL2,
AAL2-PATH, GTPU , and so on) necessary for service setup
and establishing signaling & service connections ;
Providing boards with warm backup and active/standby
swapover.

75 coaxial cable:
When connected to the WBIE/WBIEb/WOSE/WOSEb in the
WRBS, it can realize the electricity connection mode on the
Iu/Iub/Iur interface.
The type of 75 coaxial cable connector is DB50.
The 75 coaxial cable used by the BSC6800 system is of
28 core structure. Each cable contains 16 micro coaxial
cables, forming 8 E1 transceiving systems.

When connected to theWBIE/WBIEb/WOSE/WOSEb
in the
WRBS, it can realize the electricity connection mode on the
Iu/Iub/Iur interfaces.

Business Cabinet WRBR
Complying to the system capacity each BSC6800 system can
be configured with 0~5.
Switch Subrack WRSS
Each BSC6800 system is fixedly configured with 1 WRSR,
which is in the WRSR.
Business Subrack WRBS
Complying to the system capacity each BSC6800 system can
be configured with 1~16, one is in WRSR and the others is in
WRBR.
