ECONOMIC
FAMILY
VIOLENCE

HOME OF ECONOMIC
VIOLENCE
In most cases, abused women begin to suffer violence
from their partners since the couple is formed. But there
is also economic violence in couples where no physical
violence and often occurred when a grave crisis or
rupture leading to separation or divorce occurs.

HOW TO IDENTIFY THE

FAMILY ECONOMIC VIOLENCE?
1st. There is economic violence when one of the family
members used the economic power to cause harm to
another.
2nd. Family Economic violence is the form of violence for
which the victims are private and have very restricted
money management, management of own and / or
marital property or by criminal behavior are impaired
their right of ownership thereof.

TYPES OF ECONOMIC
VIOLENCE
1 daily violence.
It is observed in most violent while living partners, and nonviolent when they are going through severe crises or
terminals.
A) ongoing daily violence.
The author tends to monopolize economic power, although
not the only contributor to the household economy, making
depend the rest of the family of his will: he will be asking to
meet the needs and be who knows exclusively the true net
worth of the conjugal union.

B) cyclical daily violence.

The cycles of physical violence have three phases: Phase 1:
accumulation of tensions.
Phase 2: violent outburst.
Phase 3: honeymoon or repentant love.
There is a clear relationship between this cycle and economic
violence:
Phase 1, the economic violence becomes more bloody, the
privations suffered by the family can be very serious.
Phase 2 is when the author hits the victim
Phase 3, sorry love, the author's acts of extreme generosity.

CRIMINAL VIOLENCE
Several offenses according to the socioeconomic level of
people are committed, the degree of deterioration in the
terms of the vulnerability of the victim and the
aggressiveness of the author. The victims usually suffer
decrease or loss of its assets. However, the object of the
offense can be no real economic value: identity, professional
credentials, driver's license or social work. The crimes
committed in times of economic violence can be grouped as
follows:

A) Larceny-Theft.
B) Damage.
C) Fraud.
D) Failure to comply with duties of family support.

FACTORS OF DOMESTIC
VIOLENCE AFFECTING STUDENTS
One of these factors are: the abuse, both physical
and mental abuse, emotional neglect and violent acts
fact presence at home.
Another influential factor is the abuse and emotional
neglect, this is characterized in that this is
