DEFINATION OF ANTENNA :Antenna is transducer device. Generally it is called

passive element because without any external
equipment. It is not work as trans meter &receiver.
Generally the convertselectric powerintoradio waves
and vice versa . so we are called is radio trans meter
Or radio receiver.
Generally antenna has various type available in a
market for various purpose. But we have generally in
telecom field we are using panel antenna.

PANEL ANTENNA :-Long Array Antennas

each other.
And provide separate port
for connection.
Generally it is used in a 2G
3G and 4G antenna.

port antenna :- In which both the

but connected to each other. Impedance of antenna

1 Mechanical tilt : It is a mechanical arrangement in antenna
which provides upward & downward

Electrical tilt : Only downward tilt is possible.

It is done by the reducing of power strength.
This power strength is controlled by a knob

Remote electrical tilt :This type of tilt give by the

computer or laptop from the shelter .be cause the
antenna is directly connected to BTS so we can give the
command and give the tilt
