motorcycles and power equipment.
Largest producer of Motorcycles and
Engines since 1959
Honda also manufactures garden
equipment, marine engines, personal
watercraft and power generators, and
other products.

MIS

Having a big amount of data, storing is


difficult and it can have some errors or
some interference of unneeded data which
could bulk up the storage with rubbish.
Managers of Honda have to administer a lot
difficulties.
Honda has to to consider the issues like
how employees will share access to the
information, which of the data is
important and how to maintain it, what is
the actual demand; is it for wireless
computers?

The IT infrastructure of the company


is connected over three major Local
AreaNetworks (LANs).
21locations areconnected
throughits Wide Area
Network(WAN) set-up.
Usage of PAMA VSATs.

Supplier and
Customer Relationship
Management

Honda until 2004 use to handle


the information about
suppliers and customers
manually.
But in 2004 the fashion changed
for Honda and they begin using
Information Systems like
MySAP SRM and MySAP CRM.
Since 2013 Honda is using
MySap CRM and SRM version 7.0
EPH2

Problems with MySAP SRM and CRM

The Change

This update of MySap CRM and


MySap SRM 7.0 EPH4 will help
the employees immensely.
The Storage will increase.
Better responses to the
customer and suppliers.

Suggestion
to improve

Usage of new and effective


filtration program for reducing
spam mails.
Need a new and trusted
firewall, security system and
antivirus program like McAfee.
Removing and rechecking
unneeded files, documents,
mails, spams and viruses (if
there are). To enhance the
storage for the future.

Reduction in spam and


unneeded content which will
increase efficiency.
Increase in productivity for
the employees.
Eliminates activities that add
