Definition
Visible light waves are the only electromagnetic waves we
can see. We see these waves as the colors of the rainbow.
Each color has a different wavelength. Red has the longest
wavelength and violet has the shortest wavelength. When all
the waves are seen together, they make white light.
Visible light is electromagnetic waves which have a
wavelength of 700 nm to 400 nm.
Spectrum
Figure
Sir Issac Newton
Sir Isaac Newton was
the first to test the
visible light from the
sun that through on a
prism and produces a
bearn of light that can
divided into several
colors such as red,
orange, yellow, green,
blue, indigo, and
purple

Roger Bacon
In the 13th century
Roger Bacon is the
first person who
marked that spectrum
shows in a glass of
water.

Johann Wilhelm
Ritter
Johann Wilhelm Ritter (16

January 1810) was a
German chemist,
physicist and philosopher.
The "chemical rays"
found by him were
afterwards called
ultraviolet radiation.

Herschel
Frederick William Herschel,
(German: Friedrich Wilhelm
Herschel; 15 November 1738
- August 25, 1822) was a
Hanoverian-born British
astronomer, technical expert,
and composer. He was the
first person to discover the
existence of infrared
radiation.

James Clerk Maxwell
James Clerk Maxwell he was
born in Edinburgh, Scotland
on 13th of Juny 1813. He was
the first who wrote about
Magnetism Law and the
electricity in mathematics
formula. Maxwell knew that
light is the which one of the
shape from electromagnetic
radiation.

Conclusion
Visible light waves are the only electromagnetic waves we can see.
Visible light wave has a wavelenght () is 400- 720 nm, while
Frequency (f) of visible light wave is 400- 789 THz. *1 THz=10 12Hz.
Sir Isaac Newton was the first to test the visible light from the sun that
through on a prism and produces a bearn of light that can divided into
several colors.
RogerBacon is the first person who trade marked that spectrum
shows in a glass of water.
Application: Solar Panel, Li-Fi, Seeing and Rainbow.
