Background
Fast Return to UTRAN feature was successfully tested in UR12.
Substantial gains in reselection were observed
Normal Reselection 17 s
Fast Return 2 s
SD Traffic for LOC updates reduced significantly.
Risk of certain 2G phones being stuck was identified.

Feature Implementation with UR14 upgrade

With UR14 upgrade, parameters related to subjected feature have

become more complex.
Trial conducted to check functionality of newly added parameters.
IBS selected to minimize effect of external factors (Ec/No
Degradations etc)
