Water

The plant are equipped with a water meter or a water batch

weigher.
A centrifugal pump is often used after the batcher to pump
the water through the nozzles of power mixer.
In plant which have microprocessors controlled system the
aggregate surface moisture corrections are done
automatically and the mix consistency or workability is
accurately maintained without visual checks or manual
measurements.

Cement

The cement weighers are large enough to cope up with all

concrete mixes.
The weigh hopper has steep angle walls.
An equalizing hose connects the cement hopper and the
mixer drum to ensure a clean working environment.
Larger plants are equipped with electro-mechanical weighing
system.

Aggregate
The

aggregate weighers are generally identical to

the cement weigher in the plant.
Aggregates in star bin arrangements are unloaded
into the loader from automatically opens batching
gates.
The flap gates are operated from the control bin
that the sand flows out freely
The chain idler sprockets ensure that the loader
enters the aggregate weigher smoothly.

Control system

Almost all imported production plants offer automatic

systems for control functions.
These are required for better quality control, higher
economy and super working conditions.
Fully automatic plant control systems are available.
Microprocessor controlled production plants represent the
state of the art in the developed countries.
Their controls are operated from main desk. The entire
plant can be operated by just one person.
