Introduction

In the present years and up to date, (FP)


Family planning has always been become an
important factor in the reduction of maternal and
child mortality. Hence, it is also a critical factor in
managing the countrys population growth.

Out of 2.4 million deliveries, 3,000 Filipino
mothers die from childbirth.

only 23 countries are on track in reaching the
MDG 5 and among those, Philippines was not
included.

29 Barangays in Talakag, Bukidnon
married and single women in reproductive age
(15-49 years old)
had stopped and never used family planning

husbands working abroad or away for 6 months
undergone hysterectomy and ligation
