Shot list: A full log of all the shots you want to include in your film; essentially
it is a checklist filled with minute details that will give your film a sense of
direction and efficiency.
Test shots: A series of images photographed at the beginning of a shoot,
often with a stand-in rather than the actual model. These images are taken to
allow the photographer to determine proper exposure, depth of field and
lighting for a photo shoot.
Location scout information: Location scouting is a vital process in the preproduction stage of filmmaking and commercial photography. Once
scriptwriters, producers or directors have decided what general kind of
scenery they require for the various parts of their work that is shot outside of
the studio, the search for a suitable place or "location" outside the studio
begins. Location scouts also look for generally spectacular or interesting
locations beforehand, to have a database of locations in case of requests.
Shooting schedules: A shooting schedule is a project plan of each day's
shooting for a film production. It is normally created and managed by the
assistant director, who reports to the production manager managing the
production schedule.
Script drafting: A plan, sketch, or drawing of something. A preliminary outline
of a book, speech, etc.
