Social Factors :
Pre-Capital industry based upon family labor
with primitive mechanical aids Technological issues: no new means of production. Muslims and Hindus preferred their own leaders and wanted religious freedom.
Political Factors:
Indias government was weak.
Muslims didnt want the Hindus to rule over them but the Hindus were in majority. When one prince denigrated another in the wars, so the power of the ruling family failed. The British bribed Siraj ud Daulahs generals including Mir Jafar who betrayed him and formed alliance with the British.
British Superiority:
Nawab Siraj ud Daulah fought the Battle of Plassey against
the British and was not able to understand the power. Financial resources: The soldiers were regularly paid and had enough resources to bribe the locals. Possession of the Navy gave them flexibility and independence from land barriers. The generals of Siraj ud Daulahs army formed an alliances with the British and didnt see them as foreigners any more. The British were strong, had modern weaponry and managed to beat the other army.
