Adjustment for prematurity

Make adjustments for children aged 2

premaurity from the actual age of the
child. (adjusted age)
Draw the age line based on the adjusted
age not the chronological age.

Discussing the Test

Result
Overall interpretation should be
given to mother/caregiver.

child
If child has number of delays, inform
mother that a retest will be done in 2
weeks.

10/14/16

Cheryll Bandaay

Retesting
Draw a new age line
Use a pencil of different color
Write the retest date on top of age
line
If abnormal, questionable on the
retest, refer to a pediatrician.
