CONCLUSION
SOCIAL CAPITAL
Three different groups of social capital concepts are
discussed: trust, ease of cooperation, and network.
The three groups lead to different measurement methods.
Some measures are theory based, while others are easy-to-use
proxies. All methods are related.
The social capital dream is that all definitions try to catch
aspects of the same phenomenon, so that all measures tap the
same latent variable. It is discussed whether this dream is
likely to come true.
KNOWLEDGE CAPITAL
also called intellectual capital, is the intangible asset that
represents valuable ideas, methods, processes and other
intuitive talents that belong to a company.
HUMAN CAPITAL
Human capital is a measure of the economic value of an
employee's skill set.
This measure builds on the basic production input of labor
measure where all labor is thought to be equal.
The concept of human capital recognizes that not all labor is
equal and that the quality of employees can be improved by
investing in them; the education, experience and abilities of
employees have economic value for employers and for the
economy as a whole.
