The Scanner

Scanner Is . ??
Scanner is a tool that can be used to copy
and or copy pictures or text which is then
stored into the computer memory. From next
computer memory, stored in the hard disk or
floppy disk. This scanner functions much like
a copy machine, a copy machine difference is
the result can be seen on the paper while a
scanner results can be displayed via the
monitor in advance so that we can make
improvements or modifications and can then
be stored back in the form of text files or
image files.

How it Works Scanner

The image to be scanned is placed on the surface of the

scanner glass
Before the image is scanned, the computer will determine how
much stepper motors that carry the lights will go forward, the
distance is determined by the length of the image and the
position of the image on the scanner glass.
The lights began to glow and stepper motor will start rotating
to move the lamp until the final position the image.
The light emitted by the lamp to be immediately reflected
image, then the resulting reflections will be read by a scanner
mirror toward the lens.
The reflected light will eventually get to the CCD sensor
CCD sensors will measure the light intensity of the reflected
wavelength dn and turn it into an analog electrical voltage.
The analog voltage is converted into digital values by the
converter ADC (Analog to Digital)
The digital signal from the CCD sensor will be sent to the logic
board and sent back to the computer in the form of digital data
that show the color at the points of the reflected image.

The following are the steps:

1. Install the scanner on a PC.
2. Make sure the scanner is installed. If already installed, open the
Adobe Photoshop software. (actually not just photoshop, but here I
was just discussing with Adobe Photoshop only)
3. Once open click File, Import, and select the name / brand of your
scanner.
4. Put the image / photo on the scanner, and then close the cover.
5. Once it to determine whether or not fitted click the preview
image.
6. If it fits and you are sure, then click scan for mengscan picture.
7. Finish.
