American Planes
The martin mb-1 was a bombing plane. It was the first heavy bomber mass
produced by the United States. It had two engines and was made by the Glenn
Martin company
Vought VE-7 Bluebird was a fighter plane. It maxed out at 120 mph while in
the air and its wheels could be replaced with floats for water landing. The
Bluebird was the first plane to take off from USS Langley, and was used for
experimenting tactical dive bombing.
Warplanes now
Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird is one warplane
that is used now. It was made in 1964. It
was never hit by a missile in its 25 years
of service. It can go up to 2200 mph and
is the fastest plane to this day. It is called
the blackbird because of how stealth it
was. According to pilot Richard
GrahamYou could hear a pin drop. The
view is spectacular, being able to see the
curvature of the Earth and the black space
above filled with stars,. It is able to able
to block enemy communications and aim
a radar up to 45 degrees on each side
now
-Open cockpit
-One to two people in
planes.
-Warfare was planes
against planes
-Very challenging to shoot
-can go up to 2200mph
-Cockpit closed
-Made out of metal or stronger
materials and can last longer
in the air.

WWI Guns
The first world war was the
cause of many inventions.
Some of the most important
are the guns. A couple of
guns that were invented in
this time are the Sniper rifle
and the Machine gun.
Guns today
Since WWI guns have drastically changed for the better. They have become more compact,
can shoot faster, bigger bullets, and guns became more durable than they were during
WWI. The Machine gun, first used in WWI, has been made more compact and better in
these hundred years and so has the sniper rifle which has gotten better at firing since WWI.
In conclusions guns have changed alot since 1914 and are going to continue to become
better and better. WWI was an important time in the world and has changed warfare
forever.
