I have been a beneficiary of Headstart network for a long time now. It was through a
Barcamp in Bangalore that I got introduced to Headstart. I have seen them grow right
from idea stage. Their work in kickstart is particularly commendable. Kickstart, to me,
was all I know about how a startup conference was supposed to be. They pioneered
concepts around "pitching" and "live demos" in India. They brought together an eclectic
mix of people to create, nurture & encourage entrepreneurship in India. Given that all of
this is done with just the ecosystem's benefit in mind, the network is a great example of
a selfless act of well meaning people for the greater good of our society. It would my
pleasure to see them grow and impact more entrepreneurs like me in the

I first came across Headstart in 2009 when one of my companies was asked to
demo at an event in Bangalore. The event yielded networking opportunities,
media exposure & most importantly VC interest. Since then I have been
associated with the Headstart network in many roles as a volunteer, speaker
etc.. The entrepreneur community in India should be thankful for the stellar and
