Example: simple tense

Example: progressive tense

Passive form

FORMULA: PROGRESSIVE
TENSE
S + TOBE + BEING+ V3 (by O)

Assignment: Progressive
tense
1. They are making the kites.

Passive form
3. The kites are being made by them

Example: perfect tense


1. Mary has helped the boy
2. Mary had helped the boy
Passive form

FORMULA: PERFECT TENSE


S + HAVE/HAS/HAD + BEEN+ V3 (by O)

Assignment: Perfect tense

Example: future tense

FORMULA: FUTURE TENSE
