RELATIONSHIP
Interpersonal relations in a broad
sense
is
persuasive
communication made by one
person to another face-to-face
situations and in all areas of life
leading to happiness.
In a narrow sense is persuasive
communication made by a person
to another person face to face in
a work situation (work stuation)
and in the organization of the
workmanship (work organization)
(in Widayatun Kelly, 1999).

Nurses Relationship With


Patient
Patient / client is the focus of the effort given
by the nurses nursing, as one of the main
components of health. Nurses have the right
and obligation to implement optimum nursing
care to approach bio, psycho, social and
spiritual needs of patients. Good relationships
between nurses and patients will occur when:
(1)There is mutual trust.
(2)Nurse thoroughly understand the rights of
patients.
(3)The nurse must be sensitive to the patient's
condition changes due to disease.
(4)Nurses need to understand the presence of
the patient so that the patient and still
consider the ethical and moral.
(5)Be responsible and accountable.
(6)The nurse should be able to avoid conflict
with the patient in a way to foster good
relationships.

Nurses Relationship With


Colleague
As a member of the nursing profession, nurses
must be able to work with colleagues to improve the
quality of nursing care. Nurses must be able to
establish good relations with all the nurses work
environment, must be mutual respect and tolerance
is high. Nurses must be able to foster a sense of
brotherhood with foster penance, penance and
reparation grindstones compassion.
1. Successive custody meant that fellow nurses are
able to guide, advise, honor, and reminding when a
colleague made a mistake
2. Successive compassion meant that every nurse in
carrying out their duties to respect one another, to
love one another as members of a profession,
tolerate each other and be tolerant of high thus not
affected by the agitation that can create mutual
suspicion and hate.
3. Successive sharpening meant that nurses feel
more smart / know in terms of science, can share her
knowledge to his fellow nurses selfless

Nurses Relationship with Others


Related Professions
In performing its duties the nurse can not
work without collaborating with other
professions. That other professions such as
doctors, nutritionists, lab personnel, energy xrays and other.
In performing their duties every profession
are required to maintain professional ethical
codes respectively. Smooth functions of each
profession depends on obedience in running
and maintaining the code of ethics of the
profession.
If every profession has been able to respect
each other, then the relationship will be
established with the cooperation of both,
although the pad practice often occurs ethical
conflicts.

Nurses relationship with the


Institute
Work in accordance with the desire
and ability to be able to increase the
motivation to work but when the job
is not obtained in accordance with the
wishes and capabilities will reduce the
motivation that lead to conflict
between the values of the institution
where the nurse's policy work.
