The air we breathe is a mixture of gases
including nitrogen, oxygen, argon, carbon
dioxide, helium, water, and other gases
Each day we inhale around 14,000 Liters
(14 m3) of air as we take about 26,000
breaths (that's equivalent to about 150 full
bathtubs).

Nitro

Nitrogen is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, and

mostly inert diatomic gas at standard conditions,
constituting 78.09% by volume of Earth's atmosphere.

It was discovered as a separable component of air, by

Scottish physician Daniel Rutherford, in 1772.

Nitrogen is a common element in the universe,

estimated at about seventh in total abundance in
our galaxy and the Solar System.

Oxyg

At standard temperature and pressure, two atoms of

the element bind to form dioxygen, a colorless,
odorless, tasteless diatomic gas with the formula O2.

This substance is an important part of the atmosphere,

and is necessary to sustain most terrestrial life.

By mass, it is the third-most abundant element in the

universe, after hydrogen and helium and is the most
abundant element by mass in the Earth's crust, making
up almost half of the crust's mass.

Arg

The name argon is derived from the a Greek

word which means "lazy" or "the inactive one", a
reference to the fact that the element, Argon,
undergoes almost no chemical reactions.

It is commonly used as an inert filler gas for light

bulbs.

Carb
2

Plants and other photosynthetic things

use light energy to
photosynthesize carbohydrate from carbon dioxide
and water, with oxygen produced as a waste
product.

Carbon dioxide is produced by:

combustion of coal
fermentation of sugars in beer
respiration of all living organisms.

Heliu

Helium is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, nontoxic, inert, monatomic gas that heads the noble
gas group in the periodic table.

Its boiling and melting points are the lowest among

the elements and it exists only as a gas except in
extreme conditions.

Helium is the second lightest element and is the

second most abundant element in the
observable universe.
