Introduction
This project envisages the setting up of an International Convention Center (ICC) at
Magadh University (MU) in Bodh-Gaya, Bihar, India.

Role of cultural in India

India is called unite country with diversities which ranges from the
snow-capped mountains to the sun washed beaches, crispy old
bazaars to chichi designer boutiques, serene temples to spirited
festivals, tumbledown rural villages to techno ability urban hubs this
country is the planets most multidimensional country. India is a
country where culture echoes, tradition speaks, beauty captivates
and diversity delights. India is a vivid kaleidoscope of landscapes
with significant historical sites and royal cities, misty mountains,
colorful people who are rich in culture and festivities. To gather
these all phenomenal diversities at one place and to spread the
essence of our rich Indian culture, we have cultural centers at
various regions in which through arts, exhibitions, drams, theaters
we describes different cultures of India. Cultural
centre also
displays the cultures around the globe, through various forms.

Mid-Market accommodation: Estimated to be spread over 6.5 acre (26,316 sq.m), the
mid
market accommodation should be able to house 200 rooms for delegates.

deluxe/premium accommodation would accommodate 100 rooms for delegates.
III Craft Village: Estimated to be spread over an area of 2.37 acre (9595 sq m) to
provide a boost to the local artisans and handicrafts. In addition to the craft bazaar, it
would also include a food court and Car Parking facility. Any other development as per
the applicable byelaws can also be developed.

Aims
The aim is to design a International Convention Center at Bodh Gaya, Bihar.
The aim is to design a space to provide opportunities by which people from different
parts of India get to know more about each others tradition and cultural heritage and
thereby help in promoting mutual understanding and national integration. The space
would amalgamate all cultural, conventional activities under on roof.

Objectives
To understand the structure of a convention center.
To understand relation between activity and space.
To design Convention Center.

Scope and Limitations

The design would be emphasised on International Convention
accommodation and craft village would be design only on site plan level.

The design thesis would go into too much of Landscape detailing .

Moreover the thesis will provide with an architectural solution and not for other aspects
like economical, management, etc.
