Cement-Treated Base
Unstabilized Granular
Base
The advantages of cement stabilization are several:
Cement stabilization increases the base material strength and
stress.
COMPOSITION AND CONSTRUCTION
Fly ash is one of the residue which comprises the fine particles
that rise with the flue gases.
Ash which does not rise is termed bottom ash.
In an industrial context, fly ash usually refers to ash produced
during combustion of coal.
RETAINING WALLS
A retaining wall is a structure designed and constructed to
resist the lateral pressure of soil when there is a desired
change in ground elevation that exceeds the angle of repose of
the soil.
TYPES OF RETAINING WALL
1.Gravity wall
2.Cantilever wall
3.Sheet piling wall
4.Anchored wall
