History of LA Lihok ASTIG was founded with the help of CDP members, formerly Centrist Democratic Movement (CDM), and student leaders from other parties (Tingog and STAND-IIT) last February 2, 2012. It was named Lihok that time but on February 8, 2012. Lihok ASTIG (Alliance of Students for True and Integrated Governance) was finalized as the new name of the party. Its diverse members are unified and integrated in their longing for a better KASAMA, following the principles of accountability and responsibility, justice and solidarity, and integrity. The philosophy of the party is anchored on Human Dignity - an inherent right to be regarded with respect, to be treated and accepted as an equal, and to have equal access to the basic needs to live a decent life. Vision An empowered political party unified to protect the dignity and welfare of every student, to effectively address their academic and social problems and to protect the environment.
