They are capable of using many techniques

to detect their surroundings such as radar,

laser light, GPS, and computer vision.

2016 -The company will work in using a series of

sensors and cameras, cars can also merge, self-park,
stay within a lane and brake as needed.
2017 2019 - The company will work in driver-

assistance features that will sync up with GPS and

navigation.
2020 - Cars equipped with semi-autonomous features

will be able to navigate through traffic lights and

intersections and stop-and-go traffic
2021 2023 - The company will be focusing on

enhancing long commutes for self-driving cars.

2024 2025 - Semi-autonomous features will

continue to get better.

2026 -Now, self-driving cars will be introduce to the

public. (Bhuiyan, 2016)
