Definition
Hormone is
controlling system of the
body and distributed to
the target cells from
blood vessels

Pituitary gland is part

of the endocrine gland,
located in the
hypotalamus and have 2
parts, there are anterior
and posterior
Classification
Anterior pituitary
1. GH (growth hormone)
2. TSH (thyroid stimulating
hormone)
3. ACTH (adrenocorticotropic
hormone)
4. Prolaktin hormone
5. Gonadotropic hormone
. FSH (folikel stimulating
hormone)
. LH (luteinizing hormone)

Posterior pituitary
1. ADH (anti-diuresis
hormone)/ vasopresin
2. Oxytocin
Target cells
Target cells in the anterior
pituitary hormone
No Hormone Cell target
1 GH (growth hormone) all part of the body
2 TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) Tyroid gland
3 Gonadotropic hormone Reproductive system
- LH (luteinizing hormone) in male and female
- FSH (folikel stimulating hormone)
4 ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone) Adrenal cortex
5 Prolaktin hormone mamae gland

Target cells in teh posterior

pituitary hormone
No Hormone Cell target

1 ADH (anti-diuresis hormone)/ vasopresin Kidney tubulus

2 Oxytocin Uterus
Function and Abnormality effect
GH (growth hormone)
The function of GH is stimulate growth of the
body ( tooth and musculoskeletal )

AKROMEGALI KRETINISME
TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone)
The function of TSH is mantain of metabolism and
normal growth

Hipertyroid Hipotyroid
ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone)
The function of ACTH is Stimulates the adrenal
cortex to produse cortisol (stress management, anti-
inflammation, controlling blood pleasure)
Prolaktin hormone
The function of prolaktine is increase production of
breast milk during pregnancy until childbirth
Gonadotropik hormone
female
FSH : maturation of ovum
LH : after the mature
of ovum and than
endometrium will
thicken.

Male
LH : controlling the
production of
testosterone for
sperm formation
FSH : regulate sperm
production
ADH (anti-diuretic hormone)
The function of ADH is reabsorption
of water
Oxytocin hormone
The function of
oxytocin is help the
uterus contraction
Congclution
Hormone is controlling system of the body and
distributed to the target cells from blood vessels
Pituitary gland is part of the endocrine gland, located in
the hypotalamus and has 2 parts, that are anterior and
posterior
In the anterior pituitary gland have five hormone , there
are GH, TSH, ACTH, prolaktin, gonadotropic (FSH and LH)
In the posterior pituitary gland have two hormone ,
there are ADH/ vasopresin and Oxytocin
