1. Hawthorne Studies

Unions can be classified as either craft or

industry. Unions can also be classified as either
local or national.
Local unions are composed of members in a
specified local area.
National unions are composed of members
throughout the country.
Some local unions are part of a national union.
International unions have members in several
countries.
