Introduction
Hindalco Industries Limited, the metals flagship
company of the Aditya Birla Group, is an industry
leader in Aluminium and copper.
Hindalco is the world's largest Aluminium rolling
company and one of the biggest producers of
primary Aluminium in Asia
Established in 1958, Hindalco commissioned its
Aluminium facility at Renukoot in Eastern U.P. in 1962

Company Profile
Business
The aluminium division's product range includes alumina
chemicals, primary aluminium ingots, billets, wire rods, rolled
products, extrusions, foils and alloy wheels.
The copper plant produces copper cathodes, continuous cast
copper rods and precious metals.
Sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, di-ammonium phosphate, other
phosphatic fertilisers and phospho-gypsum are also produced at
the copper plant.
Location
Hindalco's aluminium division has units at Renukoot (Uttar
Pradesh),
Muri (Jharkhand), Belgaum (Karnataka), Hirakud (Orissa),
Alupuram (Kerala), Belur (West Bengal), Taloja (Maharashtra),
Silvassa (Dadra & Nagar Haveli), Kalwa (Maharashtra) and
Kollur (Andhra Pradesh).
Birla Copper is located at Dahej (Gujarat).
