Background of Project
The hotel was founded in 1875 and is a historical
piece of architecture.
The largest in Arkansas offering 500 rooms
including: full service accommodation, grand
ballroom, thermal baths, and live entertainment
Notoriously known for Al Capone room 422
Purpose of Project
With a high rate of substance use at the workplace.
The purpose is to identify the effects of substance
use while on the job and how it directly affects the
operation of the hotel.
And
Offer options on how to implement an effective drug
policy while creating Employee Assistance Programs

Criteria For Recommendation
Implementing Employee Assistance Programs
Restructuring Existing Drug Policy
Enforcing Fairness in No Drug and Alcohol Policy for all employees including
salary paid management.

over guidelines, explain procedures, and

Further Evaluation
3 month re-evaluation to assess absenteeism, late
arrivals and early departure rates
6 month give out surveys and reassess. Include
questions pertaining to EAP programs
