MODELLING AND SIMULATION OF STELLA SOFTWARE

(RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PALM, OWLS AND MOUSE)

 INTRODUCTION
Model
Representation of an object, idea, or system in other form of the real entity. Two types of model
are physical and mathematical.

Simulation
The operation of the model to represent the system. The operation of the model can be studied
and the properties concerning the behavior of the actual system can be inferred.

Stella Software
STELLA is a flexible computer modeling package with an easy, intuitive interface
that allows users to construct dynamic models that realistically simulate
biological systems. Given the combination of ease of use and modeling power,
stella system is ideal to interface with student investigative experiences.
Modeling in stella proceeds in three steps:
Step 1- constructing a qualitative model
Step 2- parameterizing it
Step 3- exploring the model's dynamics.
Advantages of Modeling and Simulation
Doesn't require physical components, so money isn't wasted on expensive part.
Save more time for the final results or situation.
Do not required more energy.
Can repeat the experiment with different parameters.
Does not required us to disturb the other organisms habitat.

Disadvantages Modeling and Simulation

The software itself required higher cost (expensive).
Need more cost to train the staff or the veteran teachers.
School lacks of facilities and equipments
Required to install more PC for the students use.
The veteran teachers does not have enough experience with the software.
Students or teachers become lazy to run the real or physical experiments.

Conclusion
Simulation
Simulation is one of the powerful tool to assist the teaching and learning process,
especially for the young generation. This kind of technology can increase the exciting
mode and interesting to explore the other experiments by using the technology. However,
that is normal for any technology to have their advantages and disadvantages.

Experiment
Owls, rats and palm product have relationship to each other. are The number of the owls
and mouse can affect the number of palms fresh product.
