ABSTRACT
Drilling 12 hole section in field C always need two unit
drilling bits. Somehow, based on dull grading result taken in
the three different wells sample, most of the bits are still
capable to drill until total depth. They have same
manufacture, but differ in the specification. Before
observing the performance of drilling bits, its needed to
know the design of the bits based on their specification and
features given by manufacture. Cost per foot must be
calculated to know every drilling bit performance in that
field. If we look from IADC system code, those bits criteria
have been suitable for drilling the formation in field C. For
mostly, sandstone are dominant in the Field P, so that its
categorized as soft to medium formation. In addition, Cost
per foot result shows that the bits are actually able to drill
till TD. Therefore, there are two scenario to analyse
efficiency in the using of drilling bits. First scenario is to drill
until TD by using one bit and the second scenario is by
using two bits. From those scenario which one is better to
be applied in the field P, regarding by cost per foot analysis.

Kesimpulan
O Most of the well is better to use second scenario, but it
can be applied w/ the consideration of there was no
mechanical problem.
O First scenario is best applied by using SKH519M w/total
CPF is 117$/ft, ROP prediction is 54.94 ft/hr and
tot.drilling time102.23 hr
O Second scenario is best applied by combining SKH519M
and SKRE519M w/ average ROP respectively is 56.5 ft/hr
for 2911 ft footage and 26.9 ft/hr for 1535 ft footage and
tot, tot.drilling time108.5 hr w/ CPF respectively
42.82$/ft and 83.49 $/ft
O Optimizing to determine how much footage that must be
reached for each bit run is best practice for optimization
of second scenario
