Reasons & Causes
* When the client discharges an engineer for want
of skill and ability.
- The client should not be unduly prejudiced by the
technical deficiency of the engineer.
- The client right are absolute, to protect there
interest.

- The discharge of the engineer must not be

malicious.
-It must be predicated on substantial and just
basis.

-The client will be liable for damage as a result of premature

termination of employment contract
* Both Parties voluntarily agree to terminate.

* The purpose are already done.

* The engineer dies, or become insane

- Except for the engineers that have partnership of
engineering organized as a legal entity.

* The engineer dies, except where it is agreed upon

in the contract that the purpose for which the
relation was created has to be accomplished up

its termination.
* Other reasons, such as fraud act. Etc.
Right of client Employ additional Engineer

- Employment or additional engineer by the client

should not be abhorred by retained engineer nor
should be consider as a scheme to embarrass him.
- Furthermore, it must not be regarded as an
evidence of want of learning and ability or
confident.
- This is an absolute prerogative of a client.
- As this saying Two head are better than one is
consistent with this recognized right of the client.
Bill of duties of an Engineer to the
Public
Every person, must in the exercise of his rights
and in the performance of his duties, act with
justice, give everyone his due, and observe honesty
and good faith - Art.19 of the Civil Code

the supreme law,)

Duties to the public

* Duty to discharge untrue and unfair

statement on engineer.

- Public Knowledge

- Discourage spreading untrue, unfair and

exaggerated statement.
* Duty to protect the life and health of the public and employees.

- All building or structure as well as necessary facilities thereto

shall conform in all respects to the principles of safe construction
and must be suited to the purpose for which they are design.

- Building or structure intended to be used for the manufacture

and/or production of any kind of article or product shall observe
adequate environmental safeguard.

- All building or structure and all parts thereof as well as all

the facilities found therein shall be maintained in safe,
sanitary and good working condition.

- No person shall used or occupy a street, alley or public

sidewalk for the performance of work covered by the
building permit except in accordance with the provision
of this chapter.

- No person shall perform an work on any building or

structure adjacent to the public way in general use for
pedestrian travel, unless the pedestrian are protected as
specified in this chapter.

- Any material or structure temporarily occupying public

property, including fence, canopies and walkways, shall
adequately lighted, between sunset and sunrise.

adequate knowledge and hones conviction.

*Duty to refrain from issuing statement,

criticisms, etc. on matter connected with the
public policy.

such right of freedom of speech and of the press.

without factual basis.

- Duty to obey and support the law of the state.

- Duty to dissociate from enterprises organized

for illicit purpose.

- Duty to discourage construction of public work

economically unsound for the community.
