Taking Attendance
Order in class
Those not present will be marked as absent
Latecomers must take the responsibility to see
the lecturer after class for attendance to be
updated
Definition of late - student not in class when
attendance is taken
Definition of absent not in class after 20 min
The remark column in the attendance system
will be updated with information of the
absenteeism when the supporting document is
furnished to the lecturer

Lecture
Students are to be observant and attentive
All Handphone, PDAs and electrical devices
emitting noise are to be switched off or put on silent
mode
The first 15 minutes of class will be allocated to
explain the Learning Outcome and activities
which will be carried out during the session
Queries are to be written down and addressed
during the Q&A session

All assigned work must be completed and marks
will be given/justified as per the assessment
criteria available in AOCC
Problems or clarifications can be addressed/
raised during this session
Students are expected to work on the topic given

Independent Group Work


It is incumbent upon everyone to carry out the
assigned task and report the activity to the lecturer
at the end of each session

Lecture Summary
Each person/group will take turns to summarize
the lecture
Other students are to be observant
This lecture summary may be repeated in the
following class to relate to the new Learning
Outcome

General
No eating or drinking is allowed during class
You are to refrain from using your hand-phone(s)
during class. However, if you receive an
emergency or urgent call, please seek permission
from the lecturer to answer the call outside the
classroom
Everyone must remain seated until the class is
adjourned. In case of an emergency, please seek
leave from the lecturer

Everyone must refrain from reading other
texts/materials apart from what is being taught during
class
Laptops and notebooks are to be set-aside
during the session
