too

We use too to talk about the quantity or Used with adverbs:

The function of enough is similar with too. Used with nouns:

When you want to say that someone or something has or doesnt have the ability to do
something, we can use can or cant (for the present) and could or couldnt (for the past).
Examples:
She can analyze peoples handwriting.
You cant afford to pay the bill.
Sandra could speak three languages before she was seven.
We can use be able to instead of can/could to talk about an ability that someone has or
had:
Examples:
Santi can / is able to read well, even though shes only four.
Thomas could / was able to write a short story.
I will be able to buy a house when I get a good job.
I can ride my bike and I can drive a car, but I cant drive a lorry.
Expressing Ability

In general, we use be able to when we talk about specific achievement


(particularly if it is difficult, requiring some effort) rather than a general ability.
