1) In what way does stretching the job description like that
described here both strengthen and weaken job incumbents?
Strengthen
2) To add values to the worker for his future undertaking or any future job
opportunity.
3) To prove to the management or among the peers that the staff is able to be
multi-tasked, or multi-skilled. This will be stepping stone for better job
performance evaluation.
4) Able to understand more about company operations and management
structures and improve cross-department cooperation and relationship
5) Higher autonomy and higher authority.

1) In what way does stretching the job description like that
described here both strengthen and weaken job incumbents?
Weaken
1) Not able to master the new skills, or not able to perform in his/her own
specialization.
2) Create unnecessary additional tension and pressure and cause behavior change
2) Higher profit & revenue due to cost 2) More customer complaints when he /
saving. she can not handle too many different
work loads and meet dateline.
3) Demotivated and dissatisfaction in work
force.
4) High staff turnover rate
2) Higher crime rate because a lot people is not able to find job.
