Do students always follow what I say?
If they do follow, what are the various stages of their
understanding?
What is that enables them to understand?
Is it because I begin with the simple and go in to the
complex?

do not follow?
Do I guess it or do I verify this for myself?

Teaching: Works either ways

At the end of his first day at school, our

rowdy five-year-old came running
home shouting: Mum! Mum! Guess
what? They want me back!
Another five-year-old, asked how he
liked his first day at school, replied:
All right- except there was some lady
there that talked all the time.
