INFECTIONS
Acute bronchitis is a self-limited infection with
cough as the primary symptoms. Symptoms of
acute bronchitis typically persist for
approximately three weeks.
Common cold often causes coughing;
however, nasal congestion and rhinorrhea are
also usually present, and a cold typically s the
primary symptomBlasts only seven to 10 days.

qd = once daily/every day
bid = bis in die = twice a day
tid = ter in die = three times a day
qid = quater in die = four times a day
qs = as much as needed
q4h = every 4 hours
qAM = every morning
qn = quaque nocte = every morning
q6PM = every evening at 6 PM

qhs = every night at bedtime
qn = nightly or bedtime
