that we are essentially good. We are all born
with the natural inclination to do good and
avoid evil and with the capacity to
distinguish between right and wrong.
St. Irenaeus once said: The glory of God is man
fully alive.
PHYSICAL BEING
Man is composed of external and internal organs like
other animals. His being human becomes evident
when he starts to share his thoughts and ideas
with others and to express his love and concern for
others. Man is superior and dignified which he
inherits from God alone.

Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Let

them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the
birds of the air, and the cattle, and over all the wild
animals and all the creatures that crawl on the
ground.

By being created in the very image and likeness of

God, a persons way of thinking and loving, in fact
his/her very being, reflects the beauty, the
wisdom, the love of the Creator.

The human person is the only creature on earth that
God willed for its own sake. From his
conception, he is destined for eternal
beatitude.

By his REASON, he is capable of understanding the

order of things established by the Creator.

By his FREE WILL, he is capable of directing himself

toward his true good.
